HOW
WE DO IT

To face the colossal challenge of improving State effectiveness and achieving a more participatory and robust democracy, we developed advocacy strategies with a collaborative approach to influence public policy prioritization and formulation, translating and facilitating the population engagement in this process.

Based on an in-depth technical analysis, the CLP team, with the support of experts and its Advisory Council, maps the main Brazilian structural barriers and the changes in belief and culture that prevent us from being a more developed country, with a fairer and more egalitarian society. Once identified, these become CLP's "causes" for which we will mobilize incessantly in search of creating windows of social and political opportunities to advance and achieve the expected results.

We act to bring a sense of urgency, positive discomfort, and increasing institutions and public leaders' capacity through the development of studies, creation of rankings, communication campaigns, coalitions, political articulation, and training programs. We firmly dedicate ourselves to dialogue with the government, Congress, press, academia, and civil society to find and build consensus and ensure the viability of our causes.

1 – Resume economic growth and reduce inequalities caused by the 2020 pandemic

2 – Increase the local competitiveness, focusing on States and municipalities.

3 – Improve the efficiency and appreciation of public service through the reform of the people management model.

4 – Reduce inequity and combat privileges, acting on behalf of Social Security Reform.

5 – Ensure greater representation in democracy, stimulating a wide Political Reform.
