About CLP

CLP (Center for Public Leadership) is a non-profit and non-partisan organization whose mission is to make Brazil a fairer country, offering its citizens a dignified life. We understand the country lacks a more robust democracy, with fewer privileges, a sustainable development, and an efficient state. Moreover, it is necessary to break with retrograde barriers rooted in national politics, such as corporatism, patrimonialism, and the lack of engagement.

Entendemos que o país carece de uma democracia mais forte, com menos privilégios, desenvolvimento sustentável e um estado eficiente.

Faced with this objective, CLP understands that the role of public leaders with a statesman's view is essential to improve public management quality. We believe this behavioral change is capable of rescuing a citizen's trust in politics and democratic institutions. The challenge is not to create "national saviors" but to turn these leaders into transformation agents – so that they can attract and retain equally engaged and responsible people.

In this context, as of 2020, CLP defined a model of action centered on causes that we advocate, placing all our efforts on advocacy strategies for public policies that can make Brazil grow again, attract investments, and generate jobs.
